Harry Wright: The Father of Professional Base Ball by Christopher Devine described the life of one of the pioneers of professional baseball, and a member of the Hall of Fame. It covers his career as cricketer, baseball player, and manager. Wright, and his brother George, were two of the cornerstones of the 1869 Cincinnati Red Stockings, the National Association and the National League.
