Welcome to the Emil Rothe Chapter of the Society for American Baseball Research!
Special Chicagoland Opportunity!
The 11th Annual Jerry Malloy Negro League conference will be held July 25-27, 2008, in Willowbrook, IL. We are lucky to have such a wonderful event in our own backyard. The conference packet is attached to the Downloads link to the right of this message - please consider attending.
Among the activities will be presentations, a trivia contest, and a trip to a Schaumburg Flyers game where the teams will be wearing the jerseys of the Kansas City Monarchs and the Chicago American Giants.
This conference will be a great activity for both the researcher/scholar and the casual fan. Come and bid in the live or silent auctions - the proceeds are used to bring former players to the conference.
